Adding/Using HiDPI custom resolutions

Kinda big, yes. If you want you should do some research regarding the DVMT-prealloc setting for your particular Dell BIOS . Some details on how to do it seem to be specific for each system and each BIOS version. Only then you would figure out if that's the problem. You'll probably need Windows for this.

On the other hand, the real 13" MacBook pro has 1440x900 scaled resolution, the 13" MacBook air has this native resolution too, and maybe that's how big it is supposed to look for the user interface. So, this should be an usable working scaling resolution for you while you take your time to sort it out if this is such a big problem.
If you look at my previous post(which I provided the link above). I'll have 1/4 of the screen shown, however, my cursor can go to the black side. Provide with pictures

Experiment with different ig-platform-id values.

Experiment with different ig-platform-id values.
Tried with these ig-platform-id and commented with results:
59120000 - black screen after verbose
59160000 - same
591b0000 - same
591e0000 - same
591e0001 - black screen after verbose
59230000 - same
59260000 - same
59260002 - black screen after verbose
59260007 - kernel panic
59270000 - same
59270004 - black screen after verbose
59270009 - black screen after verbose

191e0000 - no qe/cl
19160000 - no qe/cl

p.s. same means still have the same error (1/4 screen still remains after first wake up)

Keep in mind that different ig-platform-id settings may require different DVMT-prealloc setting.
And different LMAX setting.
For you to check.

Is there a way for me to change dvmt values but not through changing/flashing BIOS?

Sometimes, the framebuffer can be patched for smaller DVMT-prealloc (for the case you cannot change it).

So what can I do right now to fix it?
Thanks.

Any idea what is going on here @RehabMan? This not pick up any of these HiDPI resolutions!
I have added the `.plist`file extension to be able to upload the file here. It is located in folder `/System/Library/Displays/Contents/Resources/Overrides/DisplayVendorID-30ae`.

This is for a Lenovo L24Q-10 monitor. I have a DELL U2515H Display with the same resolution and it picks up the same HiDPI resolutions without any issues.

I'm use a Mac Pro 2008 with an HD5770 Graphics Card.
