Hi all,
Wondering if there's a difference between having a DSDT that's patched vs loading many kexts? Is one approach better than another?
Also, are there any guides on how to compile a DSDT and the common fixes needed to alleviate most issues? As well as processor-specific fixes, such as for Skylake, etc?
Looking to learn and hopefully alleviate the reliance on kexts, and the frequency in which they stop working when there's an OS update.
Thanks for any help you might be able to provide!
