I am software dev, and only need a Hackintosh to run xcode, so graphics and sound is irrelevant for me.

If this is compatible, I have found an old thread from 2013, with Mountain Lion on the H55-LE. Should I go for older MacOS, or could I run a Sierra with these specs? (so i can get to use newest xcode).

I have decided to follow a guide for Snow Leopard, that fits my Mobo/BIOS, but if that also fails, I'd might try to get hold of a Gigabyte GA-P565M-UD2. Thank you very much for posting and sharing your experience. That really helps a lot =)
