Clover boot loader update has ruined me!

Hey,

So I was just working away on my Mac High Sierra 10.13.0. (I haven’t updated to 10.13.1 as it didn’t work the first time I tried. So I have to use carbon copy cloner to get my ssd back to a working version.)

Since I did that everything has been ok, except my recovery drive disappeared. No drama as I could boot from my external disk if ever needed.

I updated clover. And now I cannot boot from my ssd, or my external drive. And am in an endless boot loop. Safe mode doesn’t work. My external recovery option just shows a circle with a line through it.

So any ideas? I cannot boot to anything to even try and diagnose the problem.

So, I cannot even start again with a USB installer. Something really is not right and I do not know where to begin with fixing this. So if anyone has any ideas I’d be truly grateful.

This is a screen I’ve come up against when trying to use the recovery option from my external drive. I could cry right now.
