Anyone out there using any MOTU USB Midi working here? I'm having a hell of a time getting my MOTU MIDI Express 128 and Micro Lite to show up in Midi Setup.

I can see the devices in System Information under USB, but I can't get them to be recognized properly in Midi Setup.

I've tried reinstalling the MOTU MIDI installer package a couple of times, I'm having no luck here. I don't know if it's a symptom of my hackinstosh or OS X itself. I have a couple Novation controllers working okay, but can't get these to work.

Hardware :
ASUS P8P67 Pro (BIOS 2103)
i5-2500k
OS X Lion 10.7.3
System Definition : MacPro 3,1

BUMP! Have you resolved your problems?

I'm having problems getting OSX 10.9.2 (or 9.1 or 9.0) to read either my emagic Unitor 8 or my MOTU microlite midi interface.

I know it's not the interfaces since they work with my laptop (non hackintosh). And I know it's not an issue with MIDI in general on my install because the stock Audio MIDI Setup program reads my Novation Launchpad, Akai MPK and M-Audio Keystation perfectly well. I had thought it may have been due to the Unitor being old, but the micro lite new out of the box also isn't picked up by my hackintosh.

HALP!!!

Thanks to anyone who can give advice on this - very important to my workflow!

Oh ! Look we're getting back with this every 2 years or so...

I never had that problem on hackintosh with 10.8.5. Recently installed 10.11.6 and same thing here : can't see that same interface (MOTU Midi Express 128) in Audio & Midi Setup. Projects that contained tracks using external modules and keyboards can't play these back. Driver installed is the latest, I see Clockworks in ''Applications'', so it's not the drivers...

Tried to plug the device in another USB slot, avoiding both the USB hub (even though never had issues before) and ''front'' of the PC (as some have suggested). Re-installed the drivers a few times with the reboot / cold boot, but nothing solve the issue.

Have you (or anyone else) found a solution to this ???

Hey, I'm about to build a new hack and I own the microlite. This is now a big concern as it's at the center of my rig. Did you guys get it to work??
