Hi everyone,

After the Security Update 2017-003 made my Hackintosh unable to boot, I'm trying to reinstall El Capitan using this guide by Ammulder which I originally used: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-el-capitan-on-the-skylake-h170n-wifi.178197/

However, after having checked that my BIOS settings to the same as in the guide and ensured that all the files are on my USB, I will not get further than the screen attached when I boot in verbose mode. If I choose to install from the USB in the Clover menu, I just get a progress bar and then ends up with a prohibited sign (I think it's called).

Can someone please help me? I've tried several things, including switching my SATA settings to ACHI, but it's still the same.

Looks like you need to boot with nv_disable=1 and install the updated web drivers.

It's weird, I wrote nv_disable=1 in the Clover Options and tried to boot from the USB, but now it's just stuck on the progress bar with the Apple logo above...

EDIT: Now it progressed, but I'm still getting that prohibited sign.
