Hello!

I have a gaming PC that I'd like to dual-boot with both Windows 10 (currently installed on an M.2 drive) and OSX (not installed, obviously).

I know my video card and RAM aren't supported, so I'll have to swap that out to make it work.

But here are the components of my current PC, and how I think they fare based on the Buyer's Guide list. Is there anything I'm overlooking, or does anyone have experience with any of these components and either recommend or not recommend them?

Thanks so much for your time, I'm stoked to make this work!

Components:
  • GPU—GeForece GTX 1070: NOT compatible
  • MOBO—MSI Z170ASLI Plus: Compatible
  • CPU—Intel i7-6700k: Compatible
  • RAM—Corsair Vengeance (16GB): NOT compatible
  • SSD (where I would install OSX)—Crucial MX300 (1TB): Compatible
  • PSU—EVGA Supernova 650 G2: ??? (Does PSU compatibility matter?)

What makes you think your RAM is incompatible? Just that it isn't on the Buyer's Guide? The important factor for RAM is that it is compatible with your chosen motherboard; if it's working now, then it's almost certain to work when you get macOS installed.
