I have a Dell Inspirion 6400, 2ghz, 2 gig ram , Ati x1300 video.

I have retail copies of lion , tiger, and mountain lion. Can I create a hackintosh from this pc that would run itunes? If yes could someone please suggest how i get started. I have an Imac 21.5 and I have usb adapters that I can hookup a sata hd to the Imac with. I also have updated the dell's bios to version A17.

Thank You

Yep should work! I would recommend installing Sierra however, as it is more up to date. If you have an iMac you can download it for free from the Mac App Store.

I downloaded sierra but i can't find the base file in applications. It's just asking to install Sierra.

Where is it located?

Thanks

OK, I logged out and when I logged in again, it was there

Thanks

I created a sierra install usb with unibeast and legacy option and when i try to install all i get is "bf1: init" and the comp restarts.

I recreated the install usb with the EFI option and now i just get a black screen with flashing cursor.

Any Ideas

It seems unlikely your laptop is UEFI capable. You will definitely need legacy. You should read the Clover FAQ for possible causes/fixes for bf1: init.
