Great deal!

Anybody get Bluetooth working on this card? I've attached the included cable to a USB header on my HP Elite 8300 CMT, but the Bluetooth doesn't seem to get recognized. Wifi works OOB.

Thanks!

Yes, BT works great using this card.

I get a strong BT signal at over 10 Feet away. Can't test it any farther than that due to room limitations.
The USB BT dongles are pitifully weak compared to these PCI-e wifi/BT cards with external antennae.

@Lonelytanker have you tested to see if the USB 2.0 header is working when you connect it to something else.

Yes, the BRCM20702 USB hub shows up in Device Manager, but underneath that it shows a "USB Composite Device" instead of the Bluetooth device. I was hoping this would be recognized as native, but it looks like I may have to load some kexts for it to work.

The following linked card is only a,b,g,n and no BT. Has not been tested. It may work if all you need is basic wifi for your build. Report back if you try it out on your system.

This is a Cyber Monday only deal so hurry if you want one at the 48 dollar price ! Some sellers on Ebay and Amazon charge over 100 dollars for this card and adapter combo. All you have to do with this is attach to a USB 2 header on your motherboard. It's already fully assembled.

TRS96,

Do you know why it only works in PCI-E x1 slot ? I have an ITX board with one x16 slot.

Thank you

The Wifi will work in a x16 slot with the Fenvi adapter and a 94360CD, the BT will not work at the same time in that slot or vice versa. I've only used mine in a x1 slot and both just work.

You can get an adapter for the BCM94360CD that let's you use it in the Mini PCIe slot on your ITX board. Then both should work.

If you have to put your adapter in the x16 slot for some reason then get the OSX Wifi version of the adapter. They have fixed the problem so that both wifi and BT will work when you install in the x16 slot. I don't know how they do it, you could email them and ask. http://www.osxwifi.com/apple-broadc...-bluetooth-4-0-with-adapter-for-pc-hackintosh It's probably why they also charge 2x as much for their version of the card and adapter.

$120 bucks is kind of pricey for a wireless/bt card. I don't have much room for the mini pcie adapter, i have seen some people use an extension cable and mount adapter on the inside of the side panel. I guess i could do that but what about the antenna cables, i assume the BCM94360CD card without the antennas will provide very limited coverage. Thoughts ?
