I am upgrade the system from Capitan to Sierra. Everything works fine except sleep. The monitor not wake up after sleep mode (its works before in EL Capitan).

Any idea to solve?

gigabyte H67M-d2-b3 i5 CPU

Inno Nvidia GTX 940 4G

Did figure out a solution to this yet? I have the same issue but its random. If I leave the computer for a prolonged period of time when I come back the computer acts like its going to wake but I just have black screens.

I'm using imac17,1 and have the same problem. Nothing wrong if I wake the PC up after 15 mins or so but after a few hours the screen stays black and a hard reset is the only solution. What I noticed that resetting the PC and entering the clover menu it says (hibernate mode) or something. Made me think that turning hibernate of might do the trick and for now it seems to be working. Hibernating for a desktop PC is not really necessary anyhow.

So in a terminal:

sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0

to turn hibernation to disk off...

Is this still working? I have the same issue. Thanks for the suggestion, will give it a shot.

Unit now it does, darkwake=0 btw.

Well, after a week it stopped working, after a couple of hours it does hibernate to disk anyway and pressing spacebar turns the computer into boot loops with the "hibernated boot" Clover option. Only starting it with cancel hibernate wake fixes it then.

I now changed :

sudo pmset standbydelay 181440
and
sudo pmset standby 0

to see if it helps, I know standby 0 disables standby so standby delay shouldn't do anything but changed it to a 3 week value anyway.

Computer still goes to sleep to ram and power led turns off...
