Motherboard
ASRock H170M-ITX/ac
I recently completed a build on an ASRock H170M-ITX/ac motherboard, using Denicio's guide over in another forum here, but still having a few problems which I've split into different posts.

The problem here is that of the two Ethernet adapters on the board, only the Intel I219V Ethernet works. Realtek RTL8111H Ethernet just doesn't show up. I've tried the configs provided in MultiBeast but without success. Any ideas how to enable it?

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Download KextBeast 2.0.1 and RealtekRTL8111-Binary v2.2.1

1. Place RealtekRTL8111.kext from /RealtekRTL8111-Binary/Version 2.2.1/Release/ folder on your desktop.
2. Run KextBeast installer
3. Select the destination folder: /Library/Extensions
4. Reboot

Hi Brebo, I tried your suggestion but no luck, the ethernet adapter still isn't seen. Is there anything I can check?

Did you remove the kexts that you've tried and didn't work?

Check your BIOS if both LAN adapters are enabled.
