As of version 6.3, MultiBeast has shifted to a bootloader-supplied HDAEnabler inject method (HDAEnabler.dylib) which depends on ACPI HDEF support for systems without DSDT.

Some systems cannot use HDAEnabler module on its own without edited DSDT for lack of ACPI HDEF support. Example systems include pre-UEFI systems, non-Gigabyte systems, ASUS x79, and many laptops. Since site-recommended 5 and 6 series Gigabyte based systems have HDEF patched into an edited DSDT, the issue doesn’t present itself.

If audio is not functional after running the latest MultiBeast, the system may need a kext-based HDAEnabler inject method (HDAEnabler1.kext) in order for audio to function. Alternately one can prepare a DSDT or SSDT with HDEF injects.

1. Update Audio using the latest MultiBeast
2. Download MultiBeast 6.2.2 or earlier from the MultiBeast Archive
3. Select only Drivers > Audio > Without DSDT > HDAEnabler
4. Build and reboot

The best decision I made about my hackintosh was to switch off the onboard sound card and get an external USB one. I used the onboard one for over a year but I kept getting kernel panics on startup. Not every time, but once a week. Randomly. It got old fast.

I bought an external one last november from Diamond Multimedia (it was 25 USD) and it works perfectly ever since. Not one panic and the sound quality is much, much better.

Is there any chance for sound blaster driver for OS X Mavericks?

I used the optional HD4000 in MB 6.3 and got HDMI audio without DSDT, working.
Sleep is now broken though.
Issue is that manual sleep only works for display, cpu fan keeps spinning, then will not wake HDMI display with keyboard or mouse.

Sleep works with no DSDT and no HD4000 patch.
