Z800 - Problems with Mulibeast

Hi,

my first Hackintosh is working, now i want to test Mountain Lion on a Z800 with 2x 4-core XEON. ML is working but it doesnt boot correctly if i unplug the USB Chimera Stick. I installed the Bootloader and the Fermi driver. But everytime i have a Kernel Panic, if i unplug the USB. To boot from the Chimera Screen, i have to type: "PCIRootUID=0 -v"

How can i get the things work correct?

Need help with Multibeast

Edit: need help with Multibeast.
ML is working but it doesnt boot correctly if i unplug the USB Chimera stick. I installed the Bootloader and the Fermi driver. But everytime i have a Kernel Panic, if i unplug the USB and boot with the Darwin Bootloader. Dont know why theres only the Darwin Loader? To boot from the Chimera Screen, i have to plug in The Stick and type: "PCIRootUID=0 -v" After that ML boots. What can i try to get the thing working correctly?

Working:
- Installed ML with "PCIRootUID=0" because i used a Nvidia GTX285
- 2x Network: working out of the box

Not Working:
- Audio
- Nvidia GTX285

-> My first attempt with Multibeast has revealed a Kernel Panic. I tried to install Now i reinstalled ML and will run Multibeast step by step.

Working: Audio / Grafic / Sound / Quicktime

Installing Mountain Lion 10.8.2 on your HP Z800:

- Install OSX ML 10.8.2 from the stick -> Boot with "PCIRootUID=0 -v" if you use a Nvidia card
- After Installation reboot and choose your HDD with ML -> again "PCIRootUID=0 -v" if you use a Nvidia card
- Then run Multibeast -> Easybeast -> nothing else! -> Repair Permissions -> Reboot

- If your USB doesnt work anymore -> Reboot -> "-x" -> Safety mode
- Delete AppleHpet.kext from S/L/E -> Reboot
- Then choose Software Update from the Appstore! -> Update Itunes -> Afterwards more Quicktime codecs are playing
- For Sound run Multibeast again: choose -> Drivers -> Audio -> Universal -> VoodooHDA 0.2.7.3

- Repair Permissions -> Reboot

Now everything seems to be fine. Im installing REDCINE-X and Adobe Production Premium CS6 atm. Afterwards i will do a render test against my real MacPro 5.1 (12core). And i also got a Transcend USB 3 card - i will give it a try tomorrow.

This system is the following:

HP Z800 with 2x 4core Xeon
Nvidia GTX 285
2x Gigabit Lan (working out of the box)

I'm gonna try installing 10.8.3 (on my Z800) because that's all I can download from the Apple store. I was wondering if you had to move everything (dvd, hd) to the LSI ports? Or you running on the intel ports? Any pointers? I excited to get this working! Thanks for sharing, hopefully I will have the same success!

There isn't many guides for the Z800 install, i'm hoping this will be less painful than I've heard...

on a z800 with Dual Six-Core Xeon X5680 3.33GHz and Quadro Fx 5800
Very easy installation with drnoodle guide!!!

on a z820 with dual Xeon E5-2670 8C 2.60 and Quadro Fx 6000
I tried the same procedure
It stucked on [PCI configuration begin]
I tried to boot with: PCIRootUID=0 -v npci=0x3000

I notice some error messages and appears the screen to choose the language for installation
After that appears the screen to choose the disk for installation but with NO DISK PRESENT. I'ts blank
In Disk Utility I see only the usb stick

Thnx for any help
chris

I realize this thread has been inactive for a while now, but as I just received my z800, I though I would add my little bit of info.

Moved all drives from SATA ports (top row) to SAS ports (bottom row, with more ports). This remedied my waiting for boot device error.

I received the "Waiting for Hard Drive error for a few boots which I found out was due to improper/no MBR (master boot record) on my boot disk. I fixed this by re-installing the chameleon boot loader on my boot drive.

As stated above, VoodaHDA 0.2.7.3 has audio working well. USB and LAN working perfect out of the box for 10.8.2

ATI 6770 is working well with GraphicsEnabler=Yes

Have a USB 3.0 card from Orico that I will be attempting to install.

Using an Apple Airport Extreme card with a PCIe adapter for native WiFi support.
