I have the customac mini 2012 configuration - identical in every way. With PCI-e WIFI add.

Using unibeast, the install goes perfectly. Upon reboot everything works except for audio and 1080p video. Ethernet, both ports working, WIFI working, bluetooth too.

I run Multibeast (DST-Free), with no other additions. At reboot, things improve and get worse - 1080p arrives, but still no sound and oddly, both ethernet ports are not working - they show in network config, the just don't work.

Second run of Multibeast (using the GA H77N aml) adding the ALC892 and Lnx2Mac Realtek Ethernet drivers. During the install, sound appeared. The Lnx2Mac required a sub-install.

Now, rebooting results in a panic exactly like I've seen here with the vt-d issue - hangs on bluetooth. My problem is there's no option to disable this setting with my i3.

Should I try again and avoid entirely the aml file?

Any ideas? Thanks. I feel like I'm nearly there.

I'm having the exact same problems and am not sure where to go from here either. All I want is the HDMI audio to work and 1080P video with working ethernet ports..

I have the H77N-WIFI and i3 3225 as well. I have been having issues getting everything working following the Customac 2012 build thread also. I have made a little progress this morning that fixed my 1080p and Ethernet, but I am still having issues with audio using the DST fix.

Use the Realtek Gigabit Ethernet drivers instead of Lnx2mac. I was not able to boot at all using the Lnx2mac unless my ethernet was unplugged. When I used the other drivers I was fine. I re-ran multibeast and selected only the ethernet drivers and that fixed it.

As far as the 1080p, the only issue I have had is that the first few boots my screen was jumbled and I had to unplug the monitor, then plug it back in and that seemed to resolve it for good...Weird.

I have the same problem. My hardware differs from yours only in one item; I use an i5 3570K.

SIMPLE: H77N-WiFi, 13-3225 *4000 Graphic, (2x4) 8 gig Corsair Ram, PC Power & Cooling power supply.Let me know if you figure Audio out. I selected ALC892 from the DSDT & NON DSDT options with no joy, All other components are working. Not sure on USB3. Fixed the screen garbage on start. Sleeps great, Bluetooth working. Very stable and quick booting, just no audio now SO CLOSE!!!!

Which options are you guys using because I try and run it how it says in the manual and downloading the dsdt for the h77n and then I try and reboot and I get a screen that says I have to restart and it comes up everytime.

OK, I stumbled on setting the audio to "Internal Speakers" and the audio came to life. I think most everything is working now. Sleep seems to be fine, has some quirky issues on shut down that I can live with.

My hardware: Gigabyte GA-H77N-WIFI, i5 3570K, EVGA GTX660Ti GPU, 1 TB hard drive.

I just did a fresh Unibeast/MultiBeast install. I have 10.8.2 on my USB-Stick. Here's what I did:

0) Connect USB mouse and USB keyboard to the computer, copy MultiBeast to the Unibeast USB-Stick. Connect the antennas that came with the motherboard to the motherboard.

1) Start up from the Unibeast USB-Stick, open disk utility, make a GUID partition on the hard drive, quit disk utility, start Mountain Lion installation restart computer, let it start up from hard disk.

2) Make an administrator account and log in to it. Check if Ethernet works, it should work.

3) Run software updates for Mountain Lion, restart, let start up from hard disk, log in to administrator account.

4) Open MultiBeast. Leave "User DSDT or DSDT-Free Installation" unchecked.
Check "Drivers & Bootloaders / Drivers / Audio / Realtek ALC8xx / Without DSDT / ALC892".
Check "Drivers & Bootloaders / Bootloaders / Chimera v1.11.1 r1394".
Click continue etc and when MultiBeast is done quit it, restart your computer from the hard disk, log in.

5) On my computer Ethernet stoppped working whenever I installed Chimera, so check if Ethernet is still working. If Ethernet is still working skip this step. If your Ethernet is not working then open MultiBeast, check "Drivers & Bootloaders / Drivers / Network / Realtek Gigabit Ethernet 2.0.6 for 10.7" and complete the installation. Ethernet will continue working after a few seconds. No restart required for this.

6) You're almost done. If you don't want to have to press a key on every restart then there's only one more thing ;) to be done: Create a new folder in your hard disk and name it "Extra". Run TextEdit and open a new plain text file with this content:
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>Quiet Boot</key>
<string>Yes</string>
</dict>
</plist>

Save the text file in the "Extra" folder. Name the file "org.chameleon.Boot.plist". Close the file, quit TextEdit, restart the computer.

7) Done.

Notes:
Concerning Step 4: In the first couple of attempts I made I checked "User DSDT or DSDT-Free Installation" and then my system wouldn't start anymore and I had to reinstall everything from scratch.

Bluetooth works for me with an Apple Magic Mouse, a Logitech V.470 and a noname Bluetooth headset I have.

I can send the computer to sleep and wake it up again using my Apple USB Keyboard, I haven't had a chance to find out if it works with a Bluetooth keyboard.

I have a pair of external speakers connected to the rear panel audio output, to Mountain Lion's "Sound" preference pane they're the "Internal Speakers".

Disclaimer: This is not a guide, this is only a documentation of what worked for me building my first Customac. Half of the time I don't know what i'm doing and I'm just blindly following the guides in this forum. The other half of the time I'm probably just lucky my computer doesn't blow up on my desk.

I got a similar build. Installation worked like a charm, setup and first boot went flawlessly. I followed the UEFI settings guide for Gigabyte series 7 MB as well.

Only thing not working is audio (I don't need HDMI audio). Used MultiBeast to install Realtek 892 audio drivers. Whichever install combination I use from this thread (or others) I can't get to the desktop after the installation. Apple logo screen appears and then grey screen. What options do I have?
