Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the Hackintosh process. Trying to set up my first build using:

Gigabyte GA-H77N-wifi mobo
Intel i5-2500k 3.3ghz chip (with built-in graphics Intel HD 3000)
mini-itx case
16 gb corsair RAM
Seagate 2tb hd

I installed using Multibeast and had a few small issues (boot0 error and screen resolution).

I fixed both of those problems using the proper tutorials.

However, my IntelHD3000 graphics are still not working properly and I can only boot up using "GraphicsEnabler=No boot flag"
I don't think the QE/CI is working.

Here is a step-by-step of what I've done so far:

-created 1 partition
-verified disk
-installed ML
-booted from USB drive "ML"
-ran multibeast with these settings:

multibeast settings.jpg
-before restarting, followed graphics resolution page tutorial
-show all in finder, moved kexts to desktop, edited, ran kextbeast

-reboot from USB drive "USB" as per boot0 error guide tutorial
-unmounted ML drive, entered command into terminal

-rebooted without pressing f12, froze at apple grey screen with spinning logo frozen
-rebooted with f12 and USB ML with -x
--showed "header read size 200 incorrect image" for a second

-removed "ATI6000controller.kext" per this poster's instructions
-went into /extra folder, edited org.chameleon.Boot.plist:
added this:
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1920x1080x32</string>

-rebooted without pressing f12, froze at apple grey screen with spinning logo frozen
-rebooted with f12 and USB ML with -v
-frozen with verbose mode, last line is: macx_swapon SUCCESS
-rebooted with f12 and USB ML with -x safe mode
--showed "header read size 200 incorrect image" for a second
-tried to remove OemSmbios.kext from /System/Library/Extensions/FakeSMC.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ but I don't have it

And this is where I am currently. Anyone have any advice? Thanks very much.

I'd rather not get a separate graphics card if possible as I only have one PCI-express slot and I want to use it for a firewire card that should actually be coming today.

Can you take the multibeast screenshot again? the one you have attached small and i cant really see much in it

Also tell me what version of ML are you installation 10.8.2 or 10.8.1?

Multibeast options are incorrect. Check these options

User DSDT.
ALC892
Disk > 3rd Party SATA driver
Miscellaneous > FakeSMC
Bootloader > Chimera 1.11.1
system definition > Mac mini
SSDT i5

I'm not sure about booting OSX with 2TB Hd,

Complete the above installation and boot with -v and see if it stops.
10.8.2 for some boards AppleACPIPlatform.kext should be rooled back. More info and kext available in the below link.

Do I need to do anything before re-running Multibeast with those options? Or will it just rewrite the correct kexts?

Just trying to double-check every step here!

thanks.

I reran Multibeast and rebooted with verbose mode and got stuck on the following line:

[AGPM controller] unknownplatform

No luck still. I tried:

reboot with f12 and USB ML with -v
-stuck on [AGPM controller] unknownplatform
rebooted with f12 and USB ML with GraphicsEnabler=No boot flag
-was able to boot up, but resolution went back down
-installed AppleACPIPlatform.kext from http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-lion-desktop-support/72956-10-8-2-problem-12.html
-repaired disk permissions on ML disk
-rebooted, froze at apple grey screen with spinning logo frozen
-rebooted, verbose mode, stuck on:

[AGPM Controller] unknownPlatform
macx_swapon SUCCCESS
