OK!

My setup is like this:

- OCZ 128GB SSD drive
- i5 2500K
- 8GB 1600MHZ DDR3
- 500GB SATA DRIVE for time machine
- Radeon 6850 HD 1024GB
- GA-H67N-USB3-B3

In Lion 10.7.4 my computer booted like in 20 seconds but now the boot time is almost 1 minute... what is wrong? In MultiBeast is checked trim feature.

Did you do a fresh install of ML?

You would need to secure erase the whole ssd in that case to keep its full performance.

@Siberian I idid an upgrade from Lion and had this issue and many others, are saying that an upgrade is not possible if you want full speed from the SSD?

Same problem for me well as well as many other problems so I rolled back to Lion, I'm sure these problems will be fixed in time.

My ML is clean install. I partitioned my ssd to to one 128GB partition and then installed ML to it. Did i do something wrong?

I don't want to rush replacing kext's without knowing how it will affect to my system. What those Lion's kext's will do?

Boot in verbose mode and see what is hanging. My ML upgrade from Lion was also slow and is now extremely fast. For me, enabling speed stepping helped. I am on a different Mobo but you are welcome to read my posts. I reinstalled ML several times (always upgrading). I'm sure someone will point you in the right direction.

Confirmed to WORK! Thank's pmdsp1155!

I hope TMX86 community will research this cause it will help many others when hackintoshers have more courage to move from Lion to Mountain Lion.

Fix SSD Speed in Mountain Lion

jamirou are you afraid of doing testing?

You can always take backup of those 2 kext before replacing. If my method does not work for you then you can put those original kexts back..

I had slow booting issue, replaced those 2 kext and my machine is back to normal booting time.

Use kextbeast to add those extensions.

Yes those are lion kexts i have attached.

This worked for me.

Thanks!

I didn't use Lion but I had SL on a Caviar Blue 500GB HDD. I just installed ML on a Crucial M4 64GB SSD and expected a much faster boot time but it takes nearly as long as SL to boot up. It took about 26 seconds in the apple screen. Sounds normal? Perhaps my expectation was too high (~15 seconds, which is how long it takes to boot up Win7).

Thanks, this helped me. My boot time is now about same to Lion.
