yay got Mountain Lion working on my customac. thanks tony and macman!

had to boot into safe mode -x and then the installer worked!

ran multibeast after the next reboot and everything seems to be working. will have to test sleep soon.

system config in my signature.

thanks

multibest selection? post steps install

Would this will work for my Gigabyte x58a ud3r rev 1.0 motherboard?

here are my multibeast settings.... see pix

i didn't enable trim support, but probably should have.

not sure bout the rev 1 board, but i'd say likely.

What does trim support do?

TRIM Support enables TRIM with SSD drives. In a nutshell it trims out unnecessary read/write commands so that the SSD ages slower.

Hi!

Can You, please, write which DSDT are You using?

the dsdt from the tonymac database. motherboard GA X-58 UD3R rev 2 bios FB

Mountain Lion OSX 10.8

Yep it works fine with the Rev one board. It took me 40 mins to upgrade and its working very well and far snappier than lion.
