All the steps on creating the USB are done from a MAC OS X machine.

1. Create a bootable USB (Unibeast 1.5)
  • Download unibeast 1.5 from; http://www.tonymacx86.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=127
  • Use the Disk Utility, partition the USB drive as MBR and MAC OS Extended (journaled)
  • Make sure the “Install OS X Mountain Lion.app” is located in the Applications folder.
  • Launch the Unibeast 1.5 application and create the bootable USB.
  • Download the “show hidden files” application, and click the show hidden files button, wait till it completes.
  • Locate and move the ATI6000Controller.kext file S/L/E from the usb drive to a Shared Drive.(if this is not done, all you will see is a white screen when booting)
2. Boot off the USB Drive using GraphicsEnabler=No
3. Go Through the Install, then reboot.
4. Boot off the USB, but select your HD using GraphicsEnabler=No
5. Follow the directions, and configure OS X.
6. Locate the ATI6000Controller.kext from the shared drive and move it to the OS X Mountain Lion desktop.
7. Use kextbeast to install the ATI6000Controller.kext (you will now be able to boot without GraphicsEnabler=No)
8. Download and Place Hexa's DSDT.aml onto your desktop.(http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?p=331843#p331843)You need this for audio and all USB.
9. Download and run the MultiBeast 4.6.1, and configure as follows,

Once complete everything should work normally after the reboot. Only thing not working is the onboard Bluetooth device (no big deal)

thanks
tom

DC Have you tried this or looked at the changes on the most recent Multibeast version. I think many of these things were fixed. What do you think? I can't find one that works

GTX 670
Corsair Memory Similar to yours

Just wondered if you tried playing with it with the newest multibeast file

Has anyone on this thread been able to get this working with updated software? I have a working Snow Leopard build with i7 3960x, asus radeon hd 7870, samsung SSD, and 4 x gskill 8gb ram. I've followed this guide to the letter to upgrade to Mountain Lion, with the notable exception of using the latest unibeast (1.5.3 mountain lion) instead since I could not find regular 1.5.

I cannot get the usb to boot past the white apple logo screen. Seems to hang there without loading under a variety of options. I have tried adding the PCI flag, the safe boot flag, the verbose flag, and combinations thereof. Even attempted selecting the USB after booting off of iboot. Nothing gets it past the white apple logo screen (without loading). I've attempted to remove the GraphicsEnabler=No flag also, but that does not allow the boot to even proceed to the white apple logo screen. Can anyone offer some advice to what is going wrong here or what I need to change? Thank you so much for the guide and any help anyway!

I don't think I have done that so definitely worth a try. I was going basically off of the guide below and the general tonymac guide for Mountain Lion which doesn't mention much about specific kexts to have/install beforehand. I'll try it sometime this week and update with results. Thanks for the response and help!
