Edit: Actually, I can confirm audio is working after selecting "UserDSDT or DSDT-Free Installation" (read description for instructions), as well as Without DSDT -> ALC889. The installation failed, but it seems to be working regardless.

Ahh, sweet. Maybe I'll wait around for Ivy Bridge then. If Apple releases a new product (Macbook Pro or iMac) with Ivy Bridge, they will probably release Lion 10.7.4 or something with Ivy Bridge support. Are we talking months or a year here?
