One last question: Have you overclocked your build? I used the prebuild overclocking options of the mobo and cannot get further than 60%. This leads to a Kernel Panic, but the same goes for Windows. Receiving a blue screen. Is that the limit?

I tried different Bootloaders and fresh clover configs and everything without success. I now managed to restore the BIOS through the switch on the motherboard. Now it boots fine. There was an obvious problem with the BIOS version. Thanks for you help anyway. I still have to update to F8...

So I assume you are on F9c as well? Hmm, any suggestions on how to solve a "panic(cpu0,.." and "Cannot find ... ACPI" kernel panic? I am on clover 3259 btw.

I never used a DSDT before, it just won't boot. I believe that a properly patched DSDT could solve the BIOS incompatibility. I would downgrade the bios, but there is no real useful guide for my mobo. Tried several ways with holding the power button to access the backup bios, but none worked.

I updated my BIOS to F9c Beta. I get ACPI Kernel Panic since then. Tried resetting bios configurations, no success. Does anyone have a proper DSDT ready for that version? Otherwise I have no OS X to patch the DSDT. I can access the EFI drive through Windows 10 and add the DSDT this way.

Hi, I tried to boot the installer by clover partition and by USB stick. Both times, Clover crashes after drawing two lines, I can see a "panic(cpu0,...)" like error for half a second, before it reboots. Any idea how to solve this? Thanks a lot!

Installation worked great on my desktop pc. But I am having an issue with my Laptop: Installer gets a kernel panic in the first second of booting through clover. I followed the installation guide, except for the config and dsdt, where I took the working ones from my Laptop. Any thoughts...

That didn't have any effect either. I also used someone elses files, because he had the notebook running with backlight, but no luck. I recognized that the ACPIbrightness.kext is not being loaded on boot. May this be the cause? Apples brightness kexts don't load as well.

i read that already and tried to apply the brightness fix for haswell, but i get the errors below in the screenshot. I attached the dsdt without patches, since i don't know how to save the file with errors. Could you patch the file an resolve the error?

Hi, i am using a backlight slider from the app store. But it only affects backlight from 0%-50% of the bar, everything further has no effect. I tried a patched DSDT and the ACPIBacklight.kext, but none did change a thing. Any idea what could be the problem here?
