I updated to Ventura 13.0 (not sure if it is final or not) from 12.6.1 Monterey using OC 0.8.3. Both Ethernet ports are working fine and have been working from the beginning of Monterey.
Upgrade went easy using OpenCore 0.8.3. It took me about 30 min to do that. After the upgrade, WiFi stopped working, and I continued on Ethernet. After a while, WiFi started working without intervention on my side and worked until I put the rig to sleep. The next day I found the rig woken, and...
@jaymonkey & @CaseySJ
I have the same YOUBO Dual Band WiFi Card BCM94360CD card and the same issues as jaymomkey has. In addition to the second Generation "Apple Magic mouse" getting disconnected after the system wakes from sleep, I just found the YOUBO card preventing my system from going to...
Hello CaseySJ, I updated my Monterey from 12.0.1 to 12.2.1. You were, as usual, correct; it was "SecureBootModel" set to Disable. Not sure how I can miss it after you pointed to that specific setting. Thank you.
Hi CaseySJ,
I am still struggling with the update from 12.0.1. I followed your instruction to no avail, as I mentioned earlier. The setting was set to "disable".
I found in com.appleSoftwareUpdate.plist the LastUpdateAvailable is set to 0. Is that why I cant to update? I appreciate any help you...
Hello CaseySJ,
I just checked the setting you have mentioned. It's "Disabled." I am attaching the config.plist file if you find some time to verify it. Other than that, what else could be wrong? Thank you.
It was changed back to 0.7.4 with the same result - no sleep. I am puzzled. What could trigger this change? My question to you, CaseySJ, what would my next step be to fix the problem?
Another observation is that my Monterey is stuck at 12.0.1 and stating it is up to date. I have heard about that...
Thank you for the prompt answer CaseySJ. Nothing has changed besides the Opencore update; well, I connected the Bluetooth BluMe HD at the same time, but even when the Bluetooth connection is removed, it doesn't go to sleep. So, I assume it is the update. Do you think I need to reset NVRAM after...
I updated Opencore 0.7.4 to 0.7.6, and my rig stopped going to the sleep mode not only by itself but even when I tried to force it to go to sleep. Does anybody else experience the same issue?
