z390 designare LG 5k z390 designare support two LG 5k 4k mode , one use integrated GPU and other use dedicated GPU. LG Ultrafine 5k use DP 1.2, no 5k ,if you want 5k mode , you must buy plugin card.

My test base Z370 and Gigabyte Titan ridge + VEGA 56 + LG 5K， Mojave and Windows 10 two system. Gigabyte z390 designare design just like MBP15 2018，but MBP 15 have two titan ridge which support two LG 5K . I am also very surprised 5K must use two cable ,I also check DP cable. Maybe Gigabyte...

LG 5K need two lan DP 1.2 in-put,LG 5K only support DP1.2 mode. if you plug LG 5k and 4k monitor to Titan ridge , I remember LG 5k will run 4k mode, because bandwidth limit.

I believe the LG display separated to two monitors, you see is second one, not main monitor. You can unplug one DP cable and enjoy it.
