I'm assuming you were asked to clear your browser cache and cookies. Try that and see if you can revoke your certs.
Also, this website doesn't necessarily like proxies.
3.0 should theoretically be backwards compatible with 2.0. but my 2.0 external hard drive only works on the 2.0 ports while mouse and keyboard are fine plugged in to the 3.0 ports (both pre 3.0 devices).
it won't solve your problem but this seems to be a common issue especially with these mobos...

just for future reference, I experienced a similar issue and managed to use my Mac OS X install usb drive to boot the system. (i.e. boot to the actual installation of Mac OS X). Then I just re-ran Multibeast.
This is a really good idea. I'm not a big fan of cases available ont he market either. The manufacturers seem to be making cases only for the gaming and the office markets. And it seems try hard to make them look as ugly as possible.
