Hackintosh is coming to an end :(
A few years down the road the top Intel cpu and AMD gpu you can put in it will be outdated, so I will enjoy mine as long as I can before switching the desktop computer to an Apple SoC as well.
Hi, I also flashed my alpine card everything is working flawless. Video passthrough, and USB-C is fixed with a proper USB mapping :) I'm sure I can find the firmware I did flash my card with if you want it?
@joe6187,
I just looked at your EFI folder, and have some tips for you :)
1. You should either use SSDT-UIAC.aml or USBPorts.kext not both as you have.
2. You should use HfsPlus.efi and not OpenHfsPlus.efi because HfsPlus.efi is much faster.
3. Make the SSDT-PLUG.aml file the manual way.
Hi,
I actually got it to work now buy reading alot on the post you provided, I was able to get some SSDT files for my card following this:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/success-gigabyte-designare-z390-thunderbolt-3-i7-9700k-amd-rx-580.267551/page-1630#post-2087139
But there is some...
Thanks for you input, I will try to lookup an SSDT from the community, or else I need to get it flashed. By the way, do you know if the Titan Ridge card is able to connect to the Thunderbolt Display? I remember reading somewhere that just the Alpine Ridge supports Thunderbolt 1 as in the Display.
Anyone have experience with the Alpine Ridge Card? I'm trying to get my Thunderbolt Display to work properly.
The display itself work just fine, but no USB, Camera, Speaker or Mic. My LacCie Big2 daisychained also works.
