I've tried every port in the back with no luck, with every system output. just as baseline, the "built in" output option, what color port is that supposed to be in the back? green or black? or something else. either way i tried every single one with my headphones and got nothing...
so i went through the whole DSDT guide, patched it both ways and tried both audio kexts, still can't get audio to work. front or back ports. Any ideas?

officially got my gtx 780 to work under 10.8.4 with the newest nvidia web drivers.
after update to 10.8.4, what I did was manually uninstall all nvidia drivers in mac os. shut down, put in gtx 780
boot up, graphicsenabler=no
boot in, now you'll be in low res mode, installed latest drivers...
did you ever get this resolved? my 4x slot doesn't work either. but I think it's a mobo issue nothing to do with the os. I have a HBA card in the 4th slot, and if the mobo recognized it I would see it initializing in bios and it doesn't. wondering what motherboard setting could activate that slot
did this sleepenabler work for you? same deal, after kextbeast install, i push the power button to get the system to sleep and the monitor just goes to sleep but not the system.
