Hello @all i am trying to reinstall my system. After reading some entries here i realized that i need to update my bios to FF version. but how do i update my bios to FF? i downloaded the bios exe here http://www.gigabyte.com/products/produc ... =3449#bios and put it on my fat 32 formated usb...

update: tryed also following options with iboot PCIRootUID=1 PCIRootUID=1 -x also doesnt work. is there another way?

hey people i realy need your help, can some one tell me how can I access my system in safe mode when -x doesnt work? i need to save my data.

how did you started you system with iboot? i tryed to insert the disk and run my snow leopard partition with -x params. still the same. iboot supported cousing kernel panic

Hi @all I need your help! I have installed 10.6.8 update, after I realized that I have no audio I tryed to install ALC8xxHDA + AppleHDA Rollback without success. So i tryed to install the latest voodoo + sys utils. And now he don´t start anymore. He hangs up on apple logo screen. Please help...

great, now i´v shooted the whole system down :-/ "you need to restart your computer..." HDAEnable was there and was owned by root (read, write) and by wheel only read. so i have changed it to read write and rebuild the cache. Should i install both legacy alc889 and HDAEnable alc889?

with HDAEnabler ALC889 i became "installation failed"?

no this time not. i tried out one or two earlier. but that's not worked for me :-/

okay i have deleted my Extra folder and installed everithing again. now i have network. great. graphic seems to be better. but i still have no sound :-/
