Think you were replying to me? Thanks and you're right. It was really weird because my RAM is 1866 speed so I manually changed in BIOS that seemed to lock my frequency at 3.9 and changed my CPU voltage without touching anything else. Once I select XMP profile1 for the memory (whatever the...
Bleh no one eh? I think I am gonna regret not getting the better cooler so I can overclock easier at lower temps, so I think the search for a deal on a non-reference shall continue.
Hello! Just set up a very similar build and typing on it for the first time! I am having some frustration with regards to the CPU clock, however mine looks just like yours! On the first screenshot of the BIOS, it shows the clock to be at 35, or 3.5ghz, but then on the top left the core clock...
Got a deal on this one for $200+tax:

...but didn't learn until after the fact that the non-reference design is probably better(totally new to this). Has anyone overclocked a reference version GPU like this before? Is it THAT...
Thanks for the advice. Decided to just keep the ripjaws and sending back the xms3 I'd rather deal with space issues later than wait 4 months for a stupid Total Defense Rebate!
So I bit the bullet on a memory deal with rebate from tigerdirect, here's the model tho
Corsair XMS3

But then I bought this other set of G.Skill ripjaws with a higher clock speed since there was no rebate involved I figured I'll...
first time using ncix so I hope they are reputable. 157.99 on newegg. Unfortunately they charged tax for me but still saves about 35 bucks after tax

I'm just gonna keep the wireless and spend 5 bucks on a crappy usb keyboard if it doesn't work. I'll post my results tho if i can get the bluetooth one to work in bios
Hmm opposite answers lol. Well I bought the newest 4.0 bt dongle from the guide. I guess I'll try it out first and return for the wired one if its not gonna work. I have the ga-z87mx-d3h on the way. If anyone had experience with whether BT keyboard works to access bios let me know. Thanks...
still trying to search for the answer I'm not very good at finding what I need though:

this thread didn't a very clear answer, but with a bluetooth dongle maybe I can get the wireless one to work even...
Bought the wireless, but now I'm wondering if I'll have problems getting into the BIOS and/or for dual booting if the keyboard doesn't work until OSX or windows have booted up. Anyone know if it's necessary for a wired keyboard over wireless to be able to access BIOS? I can still take it back...
Awesome thanks! Seems like RAM is the only thing I can't find a good deal on. Total defense rebates are a pain but I figure its worth it to save and extra 40 bucks or so
