I have the same problem, but I use `netatalk` for TimeMachine backups to home server.
I managed to partially hide this problem by configuring TimeMachineEditor (https://tclementdev.com/timemachineeditor/) to do backup only when my computer is inactive. So now I very rarely notice lags...
Yes, I resolved it. Unfortunately, I don't remember what I did exactly. Most likely I modified \SB.PCI0.PEG0._DSM method from PegSsdt table. Probably I applied this patch to this method https://github.com/jardenliu/dsdt-hotpatch/blob/master/common/SSDT-DiscreteSpoof.dsl. I uploaded the patched SSDT.
