I have a NVIDIA CTX 980 vid card on this machine. It works fine for Sierra, but for High Sierra, I'm just getting a grey screen on the installer.

I have the same motherboard, but I never get to the language pick screen, it just sits on the grey screen w/ a black mouse pointer. What am I doing wrong?

Same issue here, have a Gigebyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 MB, but that's the only difference.

But will OS X recognize it as a USB keyboard? Ir sounds too easy... I can try it, maybe it will function...

I read the post about the PS2 keyboard issue, the problem is that this is the only keyboard I have, and have no prospects to buy a USB keyboard. I finally broke down and bought a legit copy of Snow Leopard, after several attempts at installing El Capitan using a legit copy of that, w/ Unibeast...
