Cannot boot into Yosemite using Clover on Asrock X99 and Haswell-E i7-5820K

I used BIOS provided standard overclock by enabling just one switch in BIOS. It overclocks the processor from 3.3 to 4ghz and RAM to 2800mhz which is the RAM's rated speed. It has been working in Windows 10 for multiple weeks.

Cannot boot into Yosemite using Clover on Asrock X99 and Haswell-E i7-5820K

I connected the SSD to my Ultrabook and installed NVidia Web Driver. Now the system comes up with both MapPro5,1 and iMac14,2. But boot still fails if I overclock. Any ideas why?

Cannot boot into Yosemite using Clover on Asrock X99 and Haswell-E i7-5820K

What are the natively supported video chips. I may be able to get a cheap one temporarily. My problem is that I need a DP port to get 2K resolution out of my 2K monitor. But I can temporarily use HDMI port.

Cannot boot into Yosemite using Clover on Asrock X99 and Haswell-E i7-5820K

Switching USB 3.0 off in BIOS does not help. The reboot seems to happen right after the screen shows "power management cannot be done". Does that provide any clue?

Cannot boot into Yosemite using Clover on Asrock X99 and Haswell-E i7-5820K

I did the installation on an older Haswell setup I had. This is suggested on another site for X99 installations. So, I will try your suggestion. I did see some message about a problem with USB.

Cannot boot into Yosemite using Clover on Asrock X99 and Haswell-E i7-5820K

Thanks for all the suggestions. I tried each of them but the result is the same. Setup works with Windows 10. So, this cannot be a hardware issue. Ensured that the serial port is disabled. Changed InjectKexts to yes (from Detect) Tried both MacPro5,1 and iMac14,2. I have not yet tried...

Audio - HDMI Audio AppleHDA [Guide]

Thanks for prompt responses. Neither did I. I just thought that it may get me the OEM ACPI tables. For now, I will defer adding a DSDT to the configuration. Hopefully, an alternative will present itself in the near future. Once again, thanks for your time.

Audio - HDMI Audio AppleHDA [Guide]

Sorry if I misunderstood what you asked for. I thought that Clover will pass all OEM ACPI tables through if I leave the ACPI part of the config.plist empty. I regenerated everything with DropOEM, GenerateCStates and GeneratePStates set to NO. Hopefully this will give you what you are asking for...

Hello, My Audio output devices disappeared after a BIOS update. The audio still works under windows. I can find neither HDAU nor IGPU in IOReg 2.1. HDEF is found. Any help/direction will be appreciated. OS X 10.10.1, Gigabyte GA-Z87MX-D3H with Intel i7-4770K (HD4600) AMI EFI BIOS...

Mavericks: HDMI Audio - AppleHDA [Guide]

Using V2 Clover patches for HD4600 seems to have fixed the problem. Audio is working with both HDMI and DP with native AppleHDA kext. Thanks and I appreciate your help.

Mavericks: HDMI Audio - AppleHDA [Guide]

Once again, I reinstalled from scratch (after erasing the SSD) and disconnecting all the other hard drives. I also did not restore the old backup and left it as a bare OS-X system. I installed patched AppleHDA for ALC892 (along with FakeSMC and TRIM patch) using MultiBeast 6.4 and booted from...

Mavericks: HDMI Audio - AppleHDA [Guide]

I reinstalled 10.9.4 from UniBeast created USB stick. After installing patched AppleHDA for ALC892, problem is still the same. DP does not show up in the list of audio devices. HDMI shows up but does not work: when audio is played the devices disappear for a few seconds and no sound is heard...
