What should you do in this scenario if you have a i7 5820k? I have no Igpu so the only option I have is booting off the RX480 which upon changing the ktext will cause the system to not boot.

Holy smokes, that is what I was missing! Installing now. After the install I am assuming I would boot via Clover, load my new install and push the ktext to System/Library/Extensions using Kext Wizard or something of the sorts?
