    ASUS X299 Monterey/Ventura Support

Thank you Lee! I may also wait till the Intel 14th Gen CPU will be released. I know that it's not certain that it will definitely work, so I may wait until I find out if it works on a Hackintosh with someone else trying it. I also read that the 14th Gen CPU would be about 17% faster. Again...

    ASUS X299 Monterey/Ventura Support

Hi, it's been a long while and everything has been working fine. Does anyone know if there is any high-end qualified Motherboard that can work with an Intel i9-13900K CPU that works well with macOS? I was thinking about upgrading. Let me know what you can please. Thank you.

Cool! Then I did do the right thing. So all I did was take those newer files (BOOTx65.efi, OpenCore.efi and the OpenRuntime.efi) in the New OC v0.8.5 and put those 3 three new files in the Old OC v0.8.4 to update it, so it's now v0.8.5, correct? Just seeking clarity. Thanks.

What I did (from what you instructed before), I downloaded the latest OC, then I went to all of these files: EFI/BOOT/BOOTx64.efi EFI/OC/OpenCore.efi EFI/OC/Drivers/OpenRuntime.efi and replaced the (older), BOOTx65.efi, OpenCore.efi and the OpenRuntime.efi with the newer ones. That's what I...

Okay, so if I install the updated OC, how do I without affecting any other things that 7hina and Lorengrin did to help me with making adjustment to those files? By the way, I did what you said to do before a week ago and replaced those files (the way you explained), so did I mix and match those...

    ASUS X299 Monterey/Ventura Support

Hi Fear and 7hina, I'm just posting here to find out if I were to update OC from v0.8.5 to v0.8.6, you mentioned before to download the latest OC (which I did), but I also downloaded 7hina's base EFI folder. What I'm curious about is do I take from what is in the folders of v0.8.5 and replace...

Yeah, I'm thinking is there a way that you could move part of this thread starting from Page 68 / Post #762 to be able to create a new thread for the "ASUS X299 Ventura" crowd? If there is a way to make this happen, great. If not, then I think the wise thing to do is move this entire thread...

I was curious, what do we call the "ASUS X299 Monterey Support" post now, Montétura, or Venteréy? Let's take a vote!

Hey Fear, just went back to what Casey had instructed me to do from the last time to create a serial for my OS and everything worked just fine. Now I have a serial and also can get into my iMessages as well. Thank you for your help and challenging myself to go back and follow what was instructed...

I have the 2TB WD BLACK SN750 and it works just fine. So I think you'll be just fine.

To be honest, I'm completely lost without someone showing me (step-by-step) how to do this. Like what 7hina did for me (Post #530 / Page 53) and Casey (Post #572 / Page 58). He showed me (literally), step-by-step with pics, how to figure things out. That's how I learn. Also, as I was typing this...

Hi Fear, I had issues trying to follow the links you provided. I know that 7hina posted pics and an explanation that showed how to do that earlier in this post (somewhere starting on page 48 I think). Do I need to follow that process still? Let me know, thanks.
