Both TV's have reviews saying they are 720p devices, thats annoying that other devices make it say 1080p (The actual tv says: "HDMI 1080p" for these devices)

Well that's sorta what I was thinking, but I have a PS3 and OUYA connected to the same TV and they go to 1080p..
I also tried a bigger Samsung tv and it reports the same (where the other devices go to 1080p)

I know this sounds stupid, but make sure your CPU fan is spinning, if you are using the stock one that came with the CPU.
I found it annoying with my setup the power cord was coiled up too close to the fan and stopped it from spinning :/

I tired the Patch for dvdframework on my iMac (removed DVD drive and used as external USB)
DVDPlayer.app worked but apps like Toast Titanium completely freaked out :( But as long as you dont use toast you should be fine :P
