[Guide] Lenovo Thinkpad T440S using Clover UEFI hotpatch

Use .exe']this version of driver. Because this is an old version, a few hours after installing it, Windows will automatically update to the newest one unless you didn't disable automatic driver update in the System policy. In that case, go to Device manage -> Ultranav device properties, tab...

    THE Solution:Dell DW1820A (Broadcom BCM94350ZAE) macOS 15

Could you compare battery life with these two options: 1. ASPM disabled in BIOS. 2. ASPM enabled in BIOS, with pci-aspm-default set to 0. I guess the second option will allow for better battery life, because ASPM is disabled only for Wifi card, other PCI devices, such as video, card reader, SATA...

    THE Solution:Dell DW1820A (Broadcom BCM94350ZAE) macOS 15

Good finding. But on laptops it is not recommended to disable ASPM, because disabling it will take an extra 0.5-2W of power consumption. I remember ten years ago, in the era of core 2 duo, we took a lot of efforts to enable ASPM on video and wifi cards to save power :)

[Guide] Lenovo Thinkpad T440S using Clover UEFI hotpatch

Hi, @Sniki After one day testing, my Wifi is working flawlessly using pci-aspm-default fix. However, the bluetooth and battery reading using the guide in the first post (say, the 2019 Guide) have problems described bellow (while they work fine if follow your 2018-year Guide): - Bluetooth has...

    THE Solution:Dell DW1820A (Broadcom BCM94350ZAE) macOS 15

On my Thinkpad T440s, the boot process is stuck at "time-out(0), 60s: BCM2045A0" message. Adding FixAirport option to config.plist seems to resolve the problem.

Here are the results (with boot in verbose mode and do not reboot after KP, and only modified AirportBrcmFixup.kext): brcmfx-driver=0: KP, but after text screen. brcmfx-driver=2: "time-out(0), 60s: BCM2045A0" message forever brcmfx-driver=3: boot into OSX, no wifi hardware, bluetooth is available.

Here is my report: 1. Using your AirportBrcmFixup kext, or adding pci14e4,43a3 to my current AirportBrcmFixup kext, lead to the same panic. 2. Tried vanilla install of Clover following your steps in page 1 of this thread, with two options: a) kexts in Clover folder and b)kexts in...

[Guide] Lenovo Thinkpad T440S using Clover UEFI hotpatch

Could you share your CLOVER folder? I can not get DW1820A works on T440s with High Sierra despite setting pci-aspm-default = 0. Always "time-out(0), 60s: BCM2045A0" message at boot up, or black screen when I disable Brcm bluetooth kexts.

[Solved] Problem with automatic reboot at shutdown

In my case, the option FixShutdown_0004 (adding _0004 postfix) leads to panic. But removing the FixShutdown option in Clover DOES WORK ! Strange. System: HP 600 G3 Mini Desktop with i3-6100T, High Sierra 10.13.3

    [SOLVED] Sierra HiDPI scaling issues

Thank you for your support. I tried your solution but still no success. Then I tried the "last possible" solution: change DVMT value (0x350 to 0x3 in my case, Dell 3040 micro) instead of using IntelGraphicDVMTFixup / Evergreen kext, and, voila, 4K as well as high resolution of HiDPI mode come back!
