You have to install Kabyls branch of chameleon. AFAIK its also in the main fork since r700. With the new key "AtiConfig" you can choose the FB-type.

(like false colors and a grainy picture) anyone with this problem? If i replace the card with a Radeon 5850 all things are fine. On Windows both cards run without problems.

There is an error in Multibeast, you can't reinstall the kabyl-one. Your boot-file (in my case a 651er) would not replaced by the kabyl (486?) one, i had do it manual.

In my case (ATI 5850) i had to add <key>AtiFb</key> <string>Uakari</string> to the com.apple.Boot.plist, otherwise the kabyl boot won't work.

I had the same with my Vapor-X. I had to install the "kabyl-chameleon" with another GFX-card and set the AtiFb to Uakari before reboot and replacing the GFX-card against the 5850..

Maybe this works on the 57xx series, but if i don't choose the right framebuffer on my Radeon 4670 the screen goes black after booting and on my 5850 MacOSX crashes with an black screen and the GFX-card fan runs at full speed.

I don't have that ATI, but the more compatible solution instead of using an injector seems to me: using Kabyl's boot with following in the com.apple.boot.plist: <AtiFb> <Vervet> <GraphicsEnabler> <Yes>

You are loading two different RTL81xx drivers, maybe they hang on the second try.

No. For me also the Video-loop trick works. (but the horrible Cinebenchperformance still remain)

This is the "Flicker" solution wich will work on a few cards that like the framebuffer flicker. A lot of cards need other framebuffers like Shrike, Peregrine, Motmot or Eulemur. Vou have to test out, wich solution will work for you. The framebuffers need in most cases an DVI-VGA adapter in the...
