    iTunes 10.4 - 64 bit for Lion

Ever since I downloaded the iTunes update, Leopard won't boot. I tried booting in Safe Mode, but all I get is the white apple screen with no wheel of dashes. Any ideas? -------------------- System: EVGA X58 SLI 3 CPU: Intel Core i7-950 Graphics: EVGA GTS450

[SOLVED] Can't achieve full resolution, NVIDIA package no go

jfrubiom, did you try installing tonymac's NVIDIA package? If not, you should definitely try that. Without that, I don't think the root fix will do anything.

[SOLVED] Can't achieve full resolution, NVIDIA package no go

Re: Can't achieve full resolution, NVIDIA package didn't help Pooya, I tried it using your settings, but still nothing. However, tonymac himself gave me the answer: Install the PCI Root fix from MultiBeast. Works great now, after a couple days of pulling my hair out. YouTube, too. :clap...

[SOLVED] Can't achieve full resolution, NVIDIA package no go

I have a GeForce GTS450 card. I tried the installer package -- didn't help. I still have only one option for resolution. I see other posts here referring to boot flags, and changing code, but being a noob I can't figure out where to get at it, how to change it, or if I should. There are also...

    So many ugly cases!

I agree it's hard to find cases without neon. The coolermaster elite 430 black has one neon lite built into the fan, that's what I went with. With the cover on it looks fine. :|

    Simple NVIDIA 4xx Install Procedure

I installed tonymac's NVIDIA driver package (I have EVGA GEForce GTS 450 card), but I still only have one resolution option. Also, YouTube freezes every time I try to even get to the home page. The only other things I have installed are the 10.6.7 update, multibeast and Lnx2Mac's RTL package...

Installed 10.6.7; now getting kernel panic. Sleep enabler?

This is my first build. Had everything working except Flash wouldn't load on YouTube. I thought it was because of a driver problem, so I downloaded Tony's NVIDIA package. That required an update of Snow Leopard, so I did that. Now when I try to boot, I get the gray screen and a kernel panic/...

[SOLVED] Ethernet not working on EVGA motherboard

Re: Ethernet not working on EVGA motherboard I used the Lifehacker guide but with the EVGA mobo. On multibeast, I selected the checkboxes next to EasyBeast and System Utilities. Then I used the Kext Utility to install the RealtekR1000SL.kext. Could the Kext be wrong?

[SOLVED] Ethernet not working on EVGA motherboard

Using an X58 SLI3 motherboard, and installed with iBoot + Multibeast. However, ethernet is not working. Under "Network," there is no option for Ethernet, and it won't let me add it (choices greyed out). The cable works on my Macbook Pro. Am I missing a kext or something?

    Power button not working

Yeah, I called Cooler Master. They agreed with you guys. The woman on the phone acted like it happens all the time, but she sent me to their website, and they're sending me out a replacement button and wiring. She said it's easy to swap out. Thanks.

    Power button not working

Got my Hackintosh up and running with the Leopard update, but here's the problem: I can't turn on the computer by pressing the power button. I have a Coolermaster Elite 430 case and a EVGA X58 SLI3 motherboard. The power and reset cables appear plugged correctly into the motherboard (I...

[SOLVED] Need help with an EVGA X58 SLI3 Hackintosh

I installed the components, power is running to everything, but the system won't read iBoot. I have an EVGA X58 SLI3 motherboard. I haven't seen a specific BIOS setting guide for this mobo here, but I changed the essentials as recommended in the generic guide by Tony. When I start up the...
