I have similar bug with my Audiophile 192 have tested my card using 44.1/16 till 192/32 formats and I have found that I am not hearing distorted sound if set System Preferences->sound to 100% (if pitch less then 30% I will hear ) I do not know other ways how to solve the problem except...

System Report writes that "spdisplays_display" uses Intel HD 4000 but I have no displays that connected to Built-In GPU

yesterday I installed 10.8.3 AMD ASUS 7870 i5-3570k msi z77a-43a and I found one bug I can not boot from 7870 because I will get rainbow in my displays If I boot from Intel HD 4000 all works fine but , I get virtual display "spdisplays_display" (Intel HD 4000) How I can remove it tnx
