Clover is installed on the boot drive.
Since the bios didn't show it as a UEFI boot device, I installed Clover on a USB to see if the BIOS would see the USB as a UEFI boot device and it does.
The difference between my boot drive and the USB is the boot drive has chameleon (Chimera) on it...
I ran the clover installer on a USB and the bios recognized it as a UEFI boot device. Didn't have to set a flag to it. Not sure why the bios doesn't see my hard drive. I do have chameleon on it - how do I remove chameleon? Maybe that is why the bios doesn;t see my system drive as a UEFI boot...
I ran the clover installer and the install program mounted it for me. It is formatted FAT32. I don't see in the instructions where to set the boot flag. How is that done?
I have found a few threads that seem to address changing from chameleon bootloader to clover but they seem to address other issues like dual booting.
I have chameleon installed on my Yosemite 10.10.1 build and would like to install clover and use it. I went through the install instructions...
I was doing a clean install and got an error on install so now I have a blank boot disk on my machine. I went to restore from backup but there is no time machine. Since I can't install on my machine any ideas how I can restore a time machine backup?

I had a GC-WB300D PCI-e card installed OSX 10.8.2 on my ASUS x79 Pro and everything has been working really well. Until I decided to remove the card, then I got a kernel panic. I rebooted with -v and it was crashing at the point where it was loading the PCI cards - it said PCI configuration...
Absolutely - and I've done that. The only problem is that it freezes up at the apple screen (light gray background with dark gray apple logo) before it goes into the desktop. That covers up any commands running. It's not a kernel panic because there are no lines overwriting this screen or...
Here is my new build. Almost have it done except I am hanging after I install MultiBeast. I'll update this thread with the MultiBeast settings I used. Saw this thread, would this apply in my case? I don't see a DSDT for the ASUS x79 Pro yet.

Something is definitely wrong because when I boot into the USB all I see is the Lion install I am trying to re-install.
When I try to go into Lion it says it can't find MACH_KERNEL - that's all I see for a bout 1.5sec before it reboots.
if I can just get USB to show up again, I can format...
I don't see the option to install Lion on UniBeast 1.5.3 for Lion. How can I get that option to come up? I have the Lion download in my app folder...
