We're using Clover now as described in your guide, but my laptop won't boot Clover partition.
When we use diskutil on the drive the partition is described as a DOS_FAT_32 instead of a EFI partition is this normal?
I had a successful install using the following flags: dart=0 nv_disable=1 GraphicsEnabler=No IGPEnabler=No -f -v
But now when I try to launch using the USB's bootloader I get the following errors. I had the same thing happen during the install but after a few minutes it continued the install...

But I think I know why.
While converting from GPT to MBR gdisk created a new partition with partition type 0xEF (google says its the EFI partition)
Should I mount this partition and install chimera/clover on it ?

Ok, all dd commands ends with 55aa.
However for fdisk I am getting this:

Indeed, but if you look at the bottom you can see that it says 'HDD/SSD Hitachi is failed'
I just checked and it seems that it isn't a 4K/AF drive (The sector size is 512 on the drive)
