Ahh okay, so mine is the 4x30s, thanks. I think I will be able to borrow a friend's Mac at school for the process of creating a usb installer. Is it possible to create a VM from the El Capitan file in /applications from a friend's mac? I'll find a wifi card on ebay for the process I guess...- TheSkilledPlaya

Thank you very much for the quick reply. I am here after reading your guide and where I live, the AR5B195 costs about 5x more than usual. I'm not much of a hardware person so I don't want to be messing around with the PCIe slots either and do permanent damage. USB WiFi is not recommended but...- TheSkilledPlaya

Hello, I have a Probook 4530s on Windows 10 with the Realtek RTL8188CE Wifi Adapter. I know this adapter will not work so I am thinking of getting a USB Wifi adapter (dont want to tinker around with the hardware too much).
