What I have found is that multibeast doesn't work. I can't get it to even complete (errors out), when I run it from my original non fusion drive, it doesn't run either (10.8.2). When I run it from a lion partition it will run, and works, but doesn't run from my version of os 10.8.2. I cant get...

I have successfully managed to create a Fusion Drive with 2SSD in Raid 0, Fused to a 1T HDD. Used this guide, it was invaluable. Had to make some mods to accommodate the third drive. But the main thing is that you are able to fuse any number of drives together in this fashion very easily.

Could you tell me how you were able to flash the Marvell controller with new firmware on your motherboard? I am having the same difficulty and would love to be able to hot swap esata drives.

A little more information. Updated the graphics card to the AMD 6870. the first level of sleep seems to work fine. The second level (where you choose under the apple) is where it goes wonky. Scenario A: with only the mac 30" display. System will sleep and wake from sleep but loose usb...

It is amazingly frustrating to have it working perfectly then wham. Plug in a second monitor and boot, the everything goes wonky. Im in the process of trying a AMD based card to see if that works any better. So close, yet sooooooooo far. Still searching for a solution.

Niel: You say to open Chimera with Pacifist. Where is Chimera?? There is no mention of where to find this file? On the multibeast installer? on the installer partition? I have searched everywhere and cant find it?

Turning off animation fixed it on my end, now all the utilities work. thanks.
