Hi all,
this looks really great! I might build my „final“ CustoMac with this :) Just curious, is anybody using this setup but with a separate Nvidia GPU? I would love to keep my 2080 for windows in the case but wouldn‘t mind swapping cables, or deactiviating a PCI Slot in the Bios.
Thank you...
Suprised to hear that. The difference is very clear for me. Are you by any chance using a iPad 2 without a Retina Display? That would explain the lack of difference quite easily ;)
Thats great to hear! :)
Have you tried the Retina Setting yet?
I really think a 3770k + GTX 780 should be enough to power the display smoothly in Retina Mode. However it still is not a zerolag experience as advertised. The Regular non HiDPi mode works fine more or less.
It is still miles...
Has anybody tried Duet Display yet? It's a neat app that lets you use iOS Devices as a second monitor using a wired lightning cable (or dock connector) connection. It is developed by an Ex-Apple Engineer and promises no lag aka. 60 FPS and Retina Quality.

However...
It was not my intention to ruin the thread with offtopic stuff. Sorry if it sounded that way.
I asked because you guys use the same motherboard and the »handoff compatible wifi/bt adapter« I intent to buy. I also figured there is no way to get full handoff functionality via chimera right now...
Hi Jbamford & demonknight9,
I am on the fence of ordering the one from the UK. Thing is I am on Chimera/Multibeast and everything works fine apart from iMessage. How did you guy switch to Clover? Fresh Install or »Upgrade«? Would be great to hear how you guys did it since I also use a z77-ds3h...
The Infamous Wallpaper Reset in Yosemite
Turns out Mission Control created a lot of spaces without me noticing. I deleted them and unchecked the »Displays have separate spaces« option in the Mission Control Settings.
Can finally rock the Wallpaper I want.
:lol:
Hi,
my Wallpaper changes back to the default one everytime I boot my system. Anybody got the same problem?
Since I am a sucker for some nice Wallpapers this really upsets me :crazy:
(I also replied here to this)...
@Macciohey
I think I pinned down the stop sign issue to the Trim Enabler. http://www.cindori.org/status-of-trim-enabler-in-yosemite/
When it normally would show me the stop sign, it boots just fine without the Trim Patch.
Hope this might help.
@Macciohey,
nice avatar! Is that you?
I had the same problem on different hardware (z77-ds3h). However, after I booted via safe mode once everything was fine. I think I am good now. Still its odd that this grey circle appeared... Makes me wonder why...
