Catalina on Dell XPS 9500 (year 2020 model) (OpenCore)

Iam using XPS 15 9500 with Catalina, and i have to say its almost perfect. - Trackpad, all Gestures are working, nice precision, better than under Windows ( you have to disable Touchscreen in Bios and disable "haptik" in preferences in MacOS Trackpad setting. Then stuttering and non working...

    VoodooPs2Controller.kext a Problem with X1 Carbon 6th gen

Hi, hope my problem will be found fast (maybe iam just too "dumb"). Iam using X1 Carbon 6th gen with Mojave, newest Version. All is working fine. For Trackpad I use VoodooPS2Controller.kext in the newest version. All is working fine with this too. Scroll, 3 Finger Tap etc. But, no matter what I...

iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

I did not skip SSDT implementation, i just ried to find out why FCPX is not using VEGA for export anymore. So i tried to boot without the SSDT related to the Vega. I will post all needed Data after my Frontier Edition arrived.

iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Oh, so you dont use FCPX? ****, you were my big hope! :/ Bye the way, I never saw such a good tutorial for a Hackintosh. I love it! One Question, you provide/use an .aml File for Vega. But all is running without too. So is it just for "fixing" the Fan issue or is there any other advantage?

iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Thx for your guide. My System is running fine. But since today i got a problem with FinalCut. I cuted and exported many projects the last days, was so nice. Export to 1080p with GPU Acceleration (Vega 64) was a dream. Nice FPS. But since today, i changed nothing, it seems to be FinalCut is not...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

One last time.... I said: Audio Section is better on X299 Deluxe, your answer was: GIGABYTE X299 Designare / ASUS X299 Deluxe use exactly the same sound chip!!! Its the 1220... So, you are saying audio section is not better because its the same chip. And thats the point I say you don't know the...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

True, but you said "same Chip so same quality" too! ;) And thats not true. (88.9db vs 112.7 db is a really really huge difference) P.S. I own a Digidesign Protools HD2 System... so I think I know the difference too. P.p.s. But lets stop this, I don't wanna fight. You are right in whatever you...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Never mind, you know ever everything better. Think what you want. Just read more about shielding, opamps, DACs and we can continue discussion. It makes no sense to talk about with someone who don't know the basics. Its the same as your deliding offer, everyone can buy the deliding tool for just...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Yeah, you are making the same mistake like others... there is much more that produces the sound. ;) And if you don't hear the Fan you are just use a loud system or you are deaf (sorry for that). Iam very sensitive for noise. ^^ Just look, because you said same SoundChip. Both using ALC1220, the...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

First of all... the board has much less features (less USB 3.1 Gen2, less USB overall). No U.2, Sound Section is not as good as the one from the X299 Deluxe (Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 7 Pro has the same) and not so good WiFi too. Like I said, maybe the fan is quiet in your Setup, but you have...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

The Designare EX is just crap. I had this board for 2 days. The only good thing, Thunderbolt (with 5K support, ASUS Solution only provide 4K) is onboard and VRM Section is good and cold. Thats the "good". But: - Bad Boardlayout (many resources are shared) - loud fan of VRM section (DSM2 said...

So with long time full usage of all cores? If yes you should think about multiple systems. Its redundant and much more efficient. (I do so for Rendering)
