did you change your vt-d to disable in your bios? internal graphics to Auto? if you have any problem let me know because i have the same motherboard, and everything is working good well almost everything (sleep and wake up stuff) but i didnt have a time to fix it.

maybe i didnt undestand you question but if you want to see you ssd or hhd you have you go to finder and then to preference then to sidebar and then device, select your name's device and you can see you ssd. i hope this can answer you question.
