For anyone installing with Z87X-UD4H and GTX 770, and getting the deadbeef panic, I had to remove the GTX 770, 1 stick of ram, and booted installer with "maxmem=4096" to get the installer to boot/complete. Upgraded from 10.9.5

My first hackintosh build and have everything setup beautifully at 10.9.4, with iMessage/Facetime/iCloud fixed and working. Any reason to rush out and upgrade to 10.9.5 and risk breaking if I don't need to with this new update?

It was changing on every boot for me too, until I did what the guide said and tried r2283 with NVRAM lib 1.1.3 and it was stable on reboot. Latest Chameleon Wizard can install it automatically for you.
