in the device properties tab in clover configurator, change stolenmem, fbmem and patchenable.
Btw, is sleep working properly for you? can you share your efi folder if it's working for you?
I've managed to solve the issue by updating the bios and then patching the Framebuffer so it works with the 32mb dvmt prealloc. Turns out the old bios version had stability issues
My laptop doesn't have a dedicated GPU so that's not the problem.
do I need to change anything in the SSDT-PNLF file? if so than how?
I'm using this SSDT-PNLF currently, and I've also tried Rehabman's one and got the same result.
I've had the same problem on 10.15.3 tho so I don't think it's related to what you sent.
Also what you sent corresponds to the beta version of 10.15.4, not the release version
Hi, I'm running macOS Catalina 10.15.4 on my Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro (Core m 5y71 Broadwell, intel graphics 5300), and every time I wake the laptop from sleep (whether I put it to sleep by closing the lid or by choosing sleep from the apple menu), it reboots upon wake up.
I've already tried a few...
Hi, I'm running MacOS Catalina 10.15.4 on my Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, and I've managed to make brightness control work using SSDT-PNLF.aml + WEG.
The problem is, setting the brightness to the lowest setting gives out very high brightness, the equivalent of setting the brightness to 30% brightness in...
I've attempted to patch my yoga 3 pro's framebuffer so it would fit in the dvmt 32MB prealloc.
I thought the patch didn't work but then I realised the system doesn't kp and it outputs properly to the HDMI port, but the laptop's internal display is not working :(
I'm using the recommended...
I also tried using the config for my GPU from here:
https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config/blob/master/config_HD5300_5500_6000.plist
But I couldn't manage to make the system boot using it even after trying to mess with it. Keeps getting stuck at random parts of the boot process
Btw, the github repository comes with 2 different config files, one for 10.14.1 and one for 10.14.3. I'm using the second one, and i'm running 10.14.6.
Could that be an issue? Is there any difference between 10.14.3 and 10.14.6 that might require a config/kext/driver change/update?
I used windows for a few years and arch linux for a few months and it never froze like that.
btw, the github download came with a different clover folder to use when installing the os, which has less kexts so as to to reduce the chance of issues during install, but it has the same freezing...
