Well I'm not sure if it was just this the whole time or if it was a combination of steps but once I switched the sata to AHCI it saw the drive. I also switched to Legacy mode (whatever that is) and I'm currently about to download Multibeast with my new (almost functioning) hackintosh. Thanks All!
