How do I revert the boot0 error fix?

Short update: The SSD was 4k too, so I needed to apply the fix anyway. It seems that all new drives, SSD or HDD, are using the advances format.

How do I revert the boot0 error fix?

Hello community, I bought a SSD to which I want to clone OSX to from my HDD. My HDD had the 4k boot0 error and I fixed it with the command: dd if=/usr/standalone/i386/boot1h of=/dev/disk0s2 But how do I revert this fix? SSDs don't need this fix afaik. Thanks, sweetsour

    Gigabyte GTX 660 Hackintosh compatibility

@brandur, Can you get the fans spinning under load? My EVGA GTX 660 doesn't spin up when it's under load, and GPU gets hot. I wonder if anyone else has this problem. Using newest Nvidia Webdriver.

GPU stepping and fan controls don't work?

Nah dude, I figured it out myself. http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks-desktop-support/112437-no-gpu-power-managment-5.html solves it. Multibeast FakeSMC HW App is outdated. Use the one from sourceforge (HW App 6.1) and everything is fine.

GPU stepping and fan controls don't work?

My build: H77N-WIFI i5-2300 GTX660 8GB DDR3 I installed recommended settings (DSDT free) + FakeSMC + FakeSMCPlugin + FakeSMC App. Everything works. But FakeSMC App reports GPU core clock to be always at maximum. Also, no fan control is possible for either CPU or GPU, because maximum...

CARE: You might burn your graphics card with benchmark programs

OK status update: I got my new card, turns out it was me forgetting to install FakeSMC. Ofc the card won't report any temps because OSX has no ways to retrieve it. Make sure you install FakeSMC, FakeSMC plugin, and FakeSMC application is very recommended as well.

CARE: You might burn your graphics card with benchmark programs

First off, my build is almost exact the recommended one - GA H77N Wifi with Intel CPU etc. I have an EVGA GTX 660 installed. Mavericks 10.9.1. All Multibeast settings are minimum ones to get everything going, non-DSDT install. And I have Graphics Enabler = No. The system ran perfectly...

    H77N and K-Processor?

Hi, just got myself a H77N. Now I was checking out the UEFI when I found the option to "set x Multiplicator for an unlocked CPU". Does that mean I can use the Board with any K-Processor? i.e. 2500K I thought only Z77N supports K-Processors? I've read somewhere else that Z77N can adjust...
