    ASUS ZenBook 14 UX431FAC - Nice Hackintosh

I didn't test SD reader because I don't use it. If it doesn't work currently there are possibilities that there is a kernel extension that makes it work. Just wondering. Try that and remember that any feedback is welcome. That's up to the itlwm team. If they support it then yes.

0.6.4 at the moment of the commit if I remember correctly. Upgradable to 0.6.5 if using OpenCore Configurator (easy btw, open, edit something, save).

Default works. Also, don't forget to install OpenCore on the EFI partition (a 200 MiB sized partition on the begin). I think you forgot the EFI (copy-pasting EFI/ folder into the EFI partition works).

I edited first post. Also, this build has reached some stability and almost everything work. I use it as my main operating system. I use ESC to enter another OS like Fedora. On OpenCore I can only select macOS. My advice is to use rEFInd to have a multi boot selector. I'm glad this work helps...

    Help me with Asus x512u

Brightness: Use Karabiner-Elements in order to map the keyboard, it works like a charm for me :-) Touchpad: remove VoodooI2CELAN.kext, leave only the HID driver. Webcam: I face the same problem, sorry for being unable to resolve it :(

    will my Laptop Run hackintosh?

Yes, but NVIDIA card won't be available on macOS since there are no drivers for these (only 7xx).

My Intel NVMe works just fine. I have NvmExpressDxe.efi and NVMeFix.kext Did you format it? You need to format it as APFS. Also, here's ACPI folder, Kext folder, and config.plist without my own SMBIOS and so (i think the NvmExpressDxe.efi is in OpenCore's zip).

Read 1st post, I finally managed to get battery readings to work!!!! Testing. On Linux I got around 6 hours with light working. On macOS it had got around 1 hour to go from 95% to 80%, expect around 4 or 5 hours... or 3 if you use things like Eclipse / IntelliJ IDEA, Docker, VMs and so, like I...

Hey! My issues were fixed! I have a thread of my laptop, everything works now or is untested.

Catalina 10.15.6, so far the only stable version that's compatible.

Ahhh, okay  But, even if I disable the battery patches, battery status does not show up, batteries aren't detected and that's the thing I want to see how to fix it up. EDIT: More info It "detects" the battery but this is the only information shown up.

Not even an Embedded Controller patch? Nice, but mine is unable to boot without SSDT-EC-USBX. So maybe here's the starting point (just tried now)

Okay, I disabled DSDT file. (I thought it was enabled) Yes, two SSDT's. One for fusing the logical batteries into one logical device (BATC) and the other one to get the info from the battery. It's almost certain that I'm missing something but I don't know what is it :S

Work everything but the battery status that I said it's not detected, to use verbose init or having a graphical or text picker is not something that will fix my hack (I can get the logs and copy them after booting). The DSDT that is attached is vanilla, so feel free to explore it.
