To do this I just reinstall the Multibeast like I did with the original installation? I already rebooted and I just read the replacement audio should be done before this. EDIT: The Multibeast failed twice but I restarted it and my speakers and the front headphone jack are working for now.

    No more USB drives!

So apparently Apple will no longer offer OS X on USB after Lion. I'm wondering if/how will this affect the Hackintosh community. I'm assuming since you can make bootable backups regardless of where you obtained the original nothing will really change and if you already have a system running a...

Did you have any issue when you updated to 10.7.3?

    Adobe Creative Suite

Will that make it where I cannot use it on both machines at the same time? I used the migration tool for the first time setting up a friends computer a few days ago and when I opened a program on the both machines at the same time I was given a message to close the program on one of the...

I have CS5.5 Design Premium installed on my MBP. I also have CS4 for Mac and a version for PC which are all legit legally purchased (by me)copies. I want to know how to install a copy of the one that's on my MBP onto my Hackintosh.

I have had zero issues with sleep/awake so far (almost a week in). I do have an occasional kernel panic, usually during boot (40%)but that's a separate issue I have yet to resolve.

10.7.2 works fine but can't boot into safe mode

Any luck getting CS5.5 to run on your Hackintosh?

I keep getting the message ' "org.chameleon.Boot.plist" could not be opened. You don't have permission,' when I try to modify the file in the terminal. I tried to open permissions to as many files as possible but I still keep getting the same message. Any suggestions? EDIT: I just directly...

Another noob question. These files are located in Multibeast? I did some research on modifying plist files and it didn't really help me for this task. I have Text Wrangler so I should have no problem modifying the files once I find them. Here is the kernel panic screen shot.

The guides really don't help me at this point. I did follow them until I got to an issue that was specific to my machine. THis guy has a similar setup so I used his Multibeast settings and used the DSDT I downloaded from this site. He listed some mods beneath the Multibeast that are not...

I have almost exactly the same setup and it is fully functioning now. I can't boot without F12 but this could be do to the formatting of my second drive used for data or fixed by the method listed above. Thanks for the Multibeast settings as yours are the ones I used and ended up providing...

Just made a carbon copy and am going to set my multibeast and connect my other hardware. I installed 10.7.2. DO you think it's wise to jump into 10.7.3 or get this version running smoothly and backed up before proceeding? As I typed that I think I answered it myself. How did you get your...

    Lion new system install

Yes, and I also had an adapter for my monitor that I conveniently overlooked. I am up and running, typing from it now, and am working to find the best Multibeast settings for my setup.
